Becca has been with Brazoria County WIC for 14 years and started as the WIC Director in 2018.  She serves as a Dietitian for Brazoria County WIC as well as the Outreach and NE Coordinator, and the SNAP Ed Lead.  She first heard of WIC in college at Texas A&M, and wanted to be a part of this program ever since.  She views WIC as a mission where we have the opportunity to empower families through nutrition education.  She has a passion for counseling and talking to participants, which is why you will still find her in the clinics often.  She has been involved in TALWD since starting as Director and has been a part of the Board as Regional Rep for the Gulf Coast Region for the past 3 years.  She feels it is important to be involved with TALWD and advocate on important topics ranging from policy to nutrition education.  Becca feels TALWD is a great organization, and has also enjoyed getting to know fellow Directors.  In her free time she is wrangling up her kiddos, 9-year old daughter, Vivienne and 6-year olds, daughter, Ellie and son, Benjamin!
