Jammie King Wright currently serves as the Director of WIC for the Beaumont Public Health Department. Jammie holds a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition, & Dietetics from Lamar University Beaumont, TX. Shortly after earning her degree, Jammie began working for the City of Beaumont WIC Program as a Nutritionist and NE Coordinator. In 2007, after 6 years as a Nutritionist she was promoted to serve as the Local Agency Program WIC Director. Jammie has been a TALWD member since 2008 and has served on TALWD committees and has served as Gulf Coast Regional Representative in the past.
