Who Should Attend: This is a basic level course that focuses on the counseling skills needed to provide optimal breastfeeding support to clients. The course will enable attendees to strengthen their problem solving and critical thinking skills through case studies and other activities in small group settings. While open to anyone, this course is best suited for WIC staff and other professionals in similar non-medical settings (i.e. Nurse Family Partnership, Early Childhood Intervention). There will be no written handouts or syllabus so you can focus on activities.
